Welcome to my personal website, www.rav.org.uk, RAV - Diary of a FAT BASTARD!

So, what's it all about you might ask? Well, since the festivities of 2012 and an over indulgence of booze, fags and copious quantities of naughty foods, I have indeed become one humongous Fat Bastard!!

I've always pushed the boat out at the jolly time of year and always adopted the somewhat catastrophic attitude of it's all or nothing. Never do anything by half’s. Get it down ya!

Well, because of this (and the fact I'm in my thirties now, so the old metabolism isn't what it used to be), I have now become a walking pie shop and decided that enough is enough, it’s time to walk past the chippy, pick up a fork, stab the salad and get fit. This is going to be accomplished by quitting the fags, seriously knocking back on the drinking (with a 2 month complete T-Total detox starting in January), sorting out the diet and hitting the gym.

This website is intended as a journal of my progress throughout the year, something I can keep updated and help to try and keep me focused on my goals. I will include monthly updates of pictures, days I have been to the gym and how I trained, eating habits and perhaps a whole host of other things that I think of throughout the year as I go along.

Towards the bottom of this page underneath all this text you will see 3 images. The first one is a rather dashing snap of myself toking on a cigar on my wedding day, the second is me nursing a pint in the luxurious town of Blackpool and the third is an old snap of me posing on my MX5 (Marylin), in the early hours of one debauched morning! (Why not? It's niiiice!)

You will see that each picture contains a word, (Months, Blog and Guestbook). These are no ordinary words. No! These are in fact, links! By clicking on said word/link, you will be whisked over to another webpage as if by magic.

By clicking on 'Months', you will bring up a page with a breakdown of each month of the year 2013. Then you click on which ever month you want to view and will be taken to that month with pictures, weight stats, training plans etc for said month.

'Blog' will take you to a page where I offer my somewhat dim views of the world, what I've been up to training wise, how I'm feeling etc etc, you get the idea. I aim to keep this updated regularly but I probably won't!

Finally 'Guestbook' will take you to, funily enough, a Guestbook page! Feel free to enter your comments, no matter how complimentary or rude, and they will be live for all to see. You might even want to mention any particular training you are currently doing along with links to Facebook pics or whatever.

So, with all that said, it's time to start training. I hope you enjoy the regular updates and that I can be of some kind of inspiration for all the fat bastards out there who want to lose weight and get fit! Happy Training!

2019 Training!

After going tee-total in 2018 and hitting the gym, 2019 is all about a strict diet, and trying to get ripped for the summer. Christmas saw a 2 week indulgence of chocolate, cake and the like, so January was all about trying to lose that chocolate belly!
