First blog in a long time. Gym sessions fell out of favour a little over the summer due to working long hours. Had a much needed rest on holiday in Tenerife for my anniversary last week and went all inclusive. Needless to say, I ate well and drank a whole lot better! I was shocked to find that I hadn't actually put any weight on, I stayed exactly the same, the only thing is I bloated out through all the booze and put 3 inches on my stomach! I'm now back to training hardcore style again now going once and twice a day when I can. I'm hoping to have lost those extra 3 inches in 2 weeks time and then I'll keep going from there on.

Haven't put any news up in ages, basically been busy from morning to night painting a house all through the summer which kept going wrong. That's all done finally now so hoping to get back into the gym again from tomorrow. Feel very bloated again after boozing this weekend for Birminghams 4 - 1 drubbing of Sheffield Wednesday! You're all Wednesday Aren't ya?!

So, we're now into week 26. Half way through the year and 6 months complete of training. Not as much as a fat bastard as I was in January but still would be considered quite a bloater to most people! Must be a lot stricter over the latter of the training regime and try and rid myself of this unsightly flab and moobs once and for all!

Had a great workout on back and biceps this morning. Felt strong on back and lifted heavier weights on cables near end of workout than have done in past. Kickboxing on the evening was as good as ever. Never fail to get a good sweat on and legs are aching to bits now after practising lots of scissor kick combo's into roundhouse kicks!

Measurements just in today, put weight on and an inch on belly! Gonna have to hit a new diet hard from tomorrow and going to keep off the booze again.

Well, another spectular sunny day. Went to the gym first thing in the morning to train arms and then set off for a stroll round Damflast Reservoir with Evie to collect leafs froms various trees! All topped off with a fine pint in the Nags Head! Not very good in the losing your belly department but well earned none the less!

So tonight saw the dramatic u-turn of Rav's retirement and he donned his football boots once again for the first time in 8 months. The gaffer decided to play me in the net for this one due to the regular goal keeper being unavailable. We lost 9-1! I don't think Straff will be asking me to guard the goal in future!

It's May Day! The sun is shining and it's 24 degrees outside. Hotter than Majorca I'm told which is 18 degrees! Been to the gym this morning and it was packed so just did one excercise on each muscle group and left. After a disappointing last couple of months in the training department, now is the time to get back into it and hit it hard. 7 inch has been lost off my belly so far and a nice 15lb dropped since I started but now I want more! I'm more determined and focused than ever. Watch this space!...

Well it's certainly been a while since I last posted something. What with the snow and work picking up the gym dwindled off and I haven't trained properly for a month. Well that's about to change! Got back into it again this week and looking forward to hitting it hard from next week. Got a new training plan and diet plan to start in the begining of May. Bring it on!

Had a great workout on back and biceps this morning. The Dons were smiling! Then started up Kickboxing again this evening at the Black Dragon Kickboxing Club. Was great to get back into it and got a nice sweat on!

Not a great deal of training done this week as was snowed under with removal work but this was a good cardio/fat burning excercise lifting furniture and boxes for hours and hours each day! Got back into training today and bumped into Stebs and RT in the gym. RT was hobbling about with a broken foot, doing a few reps with a weightless bar, spending most of the time chatting before leaving to tell his Mrs what a great workout he had done! :)

Well, today is my 32nd birthday and what better way than to spend a morning and afternoon session in the gym and then take my measurements. Sadly, nothing lost on the belly or weight but I never expected to lose anything anyway due to being ill and not being able to train for a week. Happy with increase in arms and chest size though and feeling much stronger than I did a few weeks ago. Looking forward to starting Kick Boxing next week and maybe the odd game of football too.

Well haven't trained since Tuesday because came down with a sore throat and cold. The 3rd time since I started training in January and this one has knocked me for six and I haven't even been able to train through it. All this gym lark keeps making me bloody ill! Still, I intend to go back fighting from this coming Monday.

Another week over and 6 weeks complete of the training programme. Smashed the weight training sessions all week but didn't do much in form of cario or ab workouts as had a few jobs in van so was shattered and didn't get time. Mind you, walking up and down flights of stairs for 6 hours carrying heavy boxes is a good enough cardio workout for me!
Good to see Birmingham City still on form this weekend getting thumped 4 - 0 at home to Watford. Roll on 19th Feb when we can at last get a good home victory recorded, against the Owls!

Missed cardio on Tuesday as it pissed it down with snow again so no one could get their cars out! Was nice to have a rest anyway. Feeling a lot hungrier now I've increased my weight training to double up on morning sessions and train body parts twice a week. Feeling a lot stronger though and was pressing 32k dumbells on Shoulders other day so will be upping those weights for the next session. Watched the England game vs Brazil last night. 2-1 England. What a performance!

Started on the Grenades today. Felt as fit as a fiddle after my workout and wanted to stay for another hour. Legs aching to fook from yesterdays treadmill session so decided to blast them for half hour on the bike today. New training plan started today for next 4 weeks. Will be training each muscle group twice a week. Bring it on!

That's it, the end of the 1st month. Didn't lose as many pounds as I'd expected but then again, put on more muscle than I thought I would but the best thing was losing 5 inches on the belly. Looking forward to starting the second month now combined with a nice batch of grenades. Losing another 5 inches of the belly this month would be great so will up my training and make sure it happens!

Start of my 4th week of training today. Began with a good 1 hour session on chest in the morning and then another hour and a bit later on for abs and cardio. Had a training session yesterday on Sunday seeing as we got snowed in on Saturday so decided to have that as my rest day. Only 6 more days to go now until I weight myself and put up the next installment of pictures!

Just about the first day I've had where I don't feel shit. Think the cold has just about gone now. Was up at 6am for the gym only to find my car disappeared under a massive snowdrift! Spent the morning clearing it out and ready to take the mrs to work and then hit the gym in the late afternoon for a chest session with dumbells. Looking forward to hitting it first thing in the morning

Flippin headaches! Got in from a van job at 8pm last night with a splitting headache. Took some tablets and still had it at 10pm when went to be so was hoping to sleep it off. Got up at 6am and still had a banging headache. After 20 mins it didn't go away so I went back to bed and didn't bother with the gym. Was unable to train later on in the day as we had to move a piano from Sheffield down to London and then up 2 flights of stairs down there in a W.M.C so back to training tomorrow now.

So, another 6am start this morning and an hours training of Biceps and Triceps in the gym before work. Didn't get chance to go for my PM Abs and Cardio workout though as had 2 removal jobs on today and didn't get home until after 8pm but still, got around 9 hours cardio work doing the removals up and down stairs all day! Looking forward to tomorrow's training

Well, started with a pissing cold and sore throat last night. Had a mad sneezing fit for about 3 hours so went to bed high on paracetamols! Didn't want to get up this morning but pushed myself and did a back workout. Wasn't at my best but glad I went. Just hope this cold doesn't get any worse and I can sweat it out of me over the next couple of days

So this is the start of week 2 of my training. I'm feeling much fitter after last weeks 11 training sessions! I quit the fags on 29th December and quit the booze last Monday as I began training. Started the day off again this morning with a 6am start and a good free weight session on chest with my training partner Johnson. Going back later on this afternoon for an Abs and Cardio workout unless this snow doesn't stop and I end up being snowed in!

Quit the booze today. MY GOD, WHAT AM I DOING?!?!?! Actually, quite looking forward to it. Had so much beer over Christmas I can't even think about touching another drop, plus my beer belly has gone way out of proportion, I can't even bend over properly to tie my shoelaces now because it gets in the way! Something has to be done!.....
